Movie'in Is Hard Work

Who knew that writing a movie was so damn tiring. I've joined a team for the National Film Challenge. Sometime this fall we'll have to write, shoot and edit a film in about 72 hours. Every team is randomly assigned a genre, all must use a common prop, character, and line of dialogue.

Today was a test run at Frazier's, along with Lindsey and others. Brainstorming ideas, then picking out one and coming up with a plot. Then figuring out scenes and scripting them, then trying to shoot some scenes. Niiiine hours. Yawn. If I've been exercising my brain, why is my body tired? I don't know how Joss and Tim wrote The Train Job in a weekend.
